Classes begin again January 5, 2009

**Horton Contemporary class description: this class is geared towards beginners, but all levels can benefit from the class and are welcome.

The Horton Technique based modern class emphasizes the importance of strengthening while lengthening. Developed by dance pioneer Lester Horton, the technique investigates a full range of motion from an anatomical perspective. Students will execute a series of exercises designed to increase flexibility, core strength, and musicality. From the beginning of the class students will focus on the use of dynamics and a professional level performance quality to make for a more versatile dancer in all movement disciplines.
